Richard Hatton BVSc MRCVS
Richard is the clinical director here at Harrier Vets, he qualified in June 1980 from Bristol University. Having started his career in mixed practice treating all sorts of animals, he has always really enjoyed the surgery side and has an interest in cardiology. He was a partner in a mostly small animal practice in Andover for nearly 14 years before opening Hamble’s first ever veterinary surgery here. Richard’s Pugzu is called Ollie and his partner's is called Izzie. He was given Dudley as a young puppy to look after in 2017, as he’s a Pug born with several heart defects – a fact Dudley tends to ignore! When he can Richard likes to go cycling and also enjoys skiing and scuba diving.
